อนุสาวรีย์ของสองท้าวแห่งนี้ตั้งอยู่ที่วงเวียนสี่แยกท่าเรือ ตำบลซรีสุนทร อำเภอถลาง จังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยได้มีการสร้างขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2509 โดยมีการปรากฏไว้ใหลักฐานสำคัญในจดหมายเหตุเมืองถลาง และเพื่อเป็นการสนองต่อพระราชดำริในประบามสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวในคราวที่ได้เสด็จไปเพื่อเปิดถนนสายถลางที่ได้ประราชทานนามว่า ถนนเทพกระษัตรีและได้มีการนำชื่อของสองท้าวมาตั้งเป็นชื่อตำบลเทพกระษัตรีและตำบลศรีสุนทรอีกด้วย โดยจะมีการจัดงานรำลึกถึงวีรกรรมของวีรสตรีสองท้าวนี้เป็นประจำในทุกปี

ท้าวเทพกระษัตรีและท้าวศรีสุนทรหรือคุณหญิงจันกับคุณหญิงมุกเป็นอีกหนึ่งสถานที่อันเป็นอนุสรณ์สถานแห่งประวัติศาสตร์ชาติไทยและเพื่อเป็นการสำนึกและรำลึกถึงวีรกรรมรวมทั้งความเสียสละเพื่อปกป้องชาติของวีรสตรีแห่งเมืองถลางเกาะภูเก็ตแห่งนี้ อนุสาวรีย์วีรสตรีอยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองภูเก็ตประมาณ 12 กิโลเมตร โดยอนุสาวรีย์แห่งนี้เป็นรูปปั้นของท้าวเทพกระษัตรีและท้าวศรีสุนทรที่เป็นวีรสตรีผู้มีความกล้าหาญและเสียสละด้วยความรักชาติซึ่งในตอนนั้น พม่าได้ยกทัพเข้ามาโจมตีโดยแบ่งออกเป็น 9 ทัพ หรือที่เรียกกันว่าสงครามทัพที่เกิดขึ้นในรัชสมัยของพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลก ปฐมกษัตริย์แห่งราชวงศ์จักรี โดยพม่าได้แบ่งทัพแยกออกเพื่อเข้าตีเมืองต่างๆของดินแดนสยาม ณ ขณะนั้น โดยมีทัพหนึ่งได้เข้าทางเมืองกระ ตะกั่วป่า ตะกั่วทุ่งซึ่งใกล้กับเมืองถลาง คุณหญิงจันและคุณหญิงมุกซึ่งเป็นภริยาของเจ้าเมืองแต่เนื่องจากสามีของตนได้ถูกลอบสังหารเสียชีวิต จึงได้ทำการรวบรวมกำลังคนชาวบ้านทั้งชายและหญิงให้แต่งกายเป็นนักรบชายเพื่อต่อสู้กับข้าศึกโดยคุณหญิงทั้งสองได้แต่งกายเป็นชายโดยใช้ทั้งความสามารถและกลอุบายต่อสู้กับทัพของพม่าจนได้รับชัยชนะในที่สุด ต่อมาพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกมหาราชจึงได้มีพระราชโองการโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อมให้บำเหน็จแก่ผู้ทำคุณความดีแก่แผ่นดิน โดยพระราชทานการแต่งตั้งให้คุณหญิงจันเป็นท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ส่วนคุณหญิงมุกได้รับพระราชทานแต่งตั้งเป็นท้าวศรีสุนทร

 

This monument is located at the pier intersection at Sree Sunthorn Sub-district, Thalang District, Phuket, which was built in 1966. It has appeared in important evidence in Thalang City's Archives. In response to the royal initiatives of His Majesty King Rama 6 when he went to open the Thalang Road, which was named Thepkrasattri Road and the names of Thao Thepkasattri and Thao Sri Sunthorn were brought to be the names of Thep Krasattri Sub-district and Si Sunthon Sub-district as well. There will be an event to commemorate the heroic deeds of these two heroines every year.

Thao Thep Krasattri and Thao Sri Sunthon, or Khunying Chan and Khunying Muk, is one of the monuments of Thai national history and in recognition of and commemorating heroism, including sacrifice to protect the nation of the heroines of Thalang, Phuket. The monument is located about 12 kilometers from Phuket city. This monument is a statue of Thao Thep Kasattri and Thao Si Sunthon who were brave and patriotic heroines, which at that time Burma's army has attacked, divided into 9 armies, known as the battle of 9 armies that took place during the reign of King Rama 1. The Burmese had divided their armies to attack the cities of the Siamese territory at that time, with one army entering the city of Kra, Takua Pa, Takua Thung, which was close to Thalang. Khunying Chan and Khunying Muk were wives of the governer, but he was assassinated. The wives then gathered the villagers, both men and women, to dress as male warriors to fight the enemy. Both Khunying dressed as men using both abilities and tactics to fight with the Burmese army until they earned victory eventually. Later, King Rama 1 has a royal decree to give rewards to those who do good things to the land. by the appointment of Khun Ying Chan as Thao Thep Kasattri and Khunying Mook was appointed Thao Sri Sunthon.
