Tops, a food business under Central Retail Group Tops, celebrates its 27 years of sharing happiness to Thai society by joining hands with the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University on the charity project entitled “Pay it Forward: Get a Chance…Give a Chance”. Tops customers are invited to make a donation where much-needed money will be contributed to enhance the medication service capability, upgrade the operating room, and expand the inpatient ward of the Golden Jubilee Medical Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. From now on, interested donors can simply make a 100-baht donation via a QR Code scan available at customer service points of all Tops branches until December 31, 2023.

Mr. Chakkit Chatupanyachotikul, Head of Marketing, Public Relations & CSV of Central Food Retail under Central Retail, said throughout the past 27 years, Tops has been striving for steady growth through a series of ongoing developments emphasizing on creating products and services that offer the best shopping experience to customers. Most significantly, our core business strategy which is underlined by the Discover HAPPINESS concept is to build sustainable contentment within the society. Tops is fully committed to becoming a Green & Sustainable Retail underlining our sustainable practices and a sustainable business pioneer.

In achieving such goal, the “Small Acts Together, Small Powers for a Sustainable World” project has been initiated where stakeholders, business partners, and key customers of Tops can take part in this paying forward to society and at the same time partake in the celebration of Tops’s 27th anniversary. Tops, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University has recently launched the “Pay it Forward: Get a Chance…Give a Chance” fundraising campaign where customers can make a 100-baht donation to help improve the operating room and build the new inpatient ward building. The charitable project not only aims at increasing accessibility for Thai people to inclusive medication and treatment but also nurturing the continued development of medical personnel.

Pay it Forward: Get a Chance…Give a Chance” is a pivotal fundraising effort initiated to raise money to upgrade the operating room and second inpatient ward building for the Golden Jubilee Medical Center to accommodate an increasing number of patients. Under the supervision of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, the center provides general medical services, and specialized treatment at the secondary level. Notwithstanding being medical hubs of various respectable medical services ranging from dialysis to sleep testing, the center still offers services at a reasonable fee for the general public. Situated in the strategic location connecting Siriraj Hospital and the hospitals in the upper southern region, the Golden Jubilee Medical Center therefore can efficiently shape the future of public healthcare within Region 5 which covers 8 provinces including Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Phetchaburi, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram, and Prachuap Khiri Khan. With sustained effort, it can be developed and become a holistic medical hub to best benefit the patients.

The Golden Jubilee Medical Center is currently in need of funds to complete the improvement of the operating room and inpatient ward building which will benefit greatly on treatment and diagnosis effectiveness as well as can sufficiently enlarge patients’ accommodation. Thus, Tops would like to invite customers and the general public to team up in building a better society by donating money to the “Pay it Forward: Get a Chance…Give a Chance” charity project. Interested customers can make a 100-baht donation by scanning a QR code at all Tops customer service points from today – 31 December 2023.
