Thai AirAsia (FD) is joining Thailand’s operation to bring Thai citizens home from Israel. The airline has been tasked by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to conduct flights on 24, 27 and 30 October or until the mission is complete.
Thai AirAsia will be utilising its 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft to fly Thais currently waiting in the United Arab Emirates back. The initial flight will travel from Fujairah Airport (FJR) at 7.30 hrs to arrive at Don Mueang Airport (DMK) at 18.35 hrs (fueling stops will take place at Kolkata Airport in India). Thai AirAsia has prepared meals, snacks and beverages for all passengers to be on the flight and will be adhering to its high safety standard.
Careful flight operational planning is also being carried out so the operation to return Thais home does not also affect the airline’s normal operation.
