sala rattanakosin Bangkok, the stylish riverside boutique retreat in the ancient heart of the Thai capital, is inviting guests to embark on an inspiring urban exploration during the second Bangkok Art Biennale (BAB), a vibrant three-month festival that transforms the entire city into a canvas of creativity. The BAB is now in full swing, with over 200 artworks by 82 outstanding local and international artists on display in multiple locations around Bangkok, including galleries, public spaces and iconic landmarks. Several pieces can be discovered along the Chao Phraya River, within walking distance of the hotel, and guests can now combine this exquisite experience with an enticing evening or extended staycation at sala rattanakosin Bangkok.

Having spent a rewarding day uncovering original artworks, culture seekers can end their day in style at sala rattanakosin Bangkok. Local residents can pop into the hotel’s Rooftop Bar to reflect on their adventure whilst enjoying a glass of wine, a cold beer or a cool cocktail overlooking the river and Wat Arun, the glittering “Temple of Dawn”.

For a truly enchanting evening, the hotel’s river-facing Eatery and Bar is showcasing a traditional “Siam Tha Tien” dinner, which comprises four courses of highly authentic Thai cuisine. Created for couples, this sublime set menu starts with an appetizer of spicy kale salad with white shrimp, and tom kha seafood soup. Diners can then choose their main course, from southern-style crab curry with duck egg and soft shell crab, or deep-fried whole sea bass with mango salad, accompanied by wok-fried seasonal vegetables and steamed jasmine rice. This memorable meal ends with a delectable dessert of banana in coconut broth.

sala rattanakosin Bangkok has also crafted a special package to coincide with the BAB, which focuses on the Thai capital’s rich heritage. Guests can book a serene stay including daily breakfast, the Siam Tha Tien couple’s set dinner, and a tourist boat tour for two people on the Chao Phraya, Bangkok’s “River of Kings”, which takes in many of the city’s historical landmarks.
