Chef Christian was previously the Culinary Director and Executive Chef for over 10 years at Restaurant Tim Raue, located in Berlin, which ranked in the World’s 50 Best List and earned 2 MICHELIN stars. This one-night event, set for May 2, 2024, will feature a 4-hands dinner centered on the theme of vibrant diversity to reflect Bangkok destination.

Swiss-born David Hartwig, the talent behind IGNIV Bangkok, and German culinary maestro Christian of Lae Lay, will bring to the table their respective culinary perspectives, blending IGNIV’s modern Swiss flair with the innovative, Asian-inspired seafood delights of Lae Lay. This collaboration is designed to showcase the chefs’ shared passion for creating engaging dining experiences that highlight the bold diversity of ingredients, cultures, and flavors of Bangkok. The spirit of togetherness and community that defines IGNIV is shown through the sharing dining experiences.

Chef David Hartwig, a visionary in the culinary world, was handpicked by IGNIV’s founding chef Andreas Caminada to introduce Bangkok to IGNIV’s signature modern Swiss cuisine and fine dining sharing concept. Having honed his skills in some of the world’s most acclaimed kitchens, including the 3 MICHELIN-starred Schloss Schauenstein, Chef David’s approach to cuisine emphasizes fresh ingredients and the comforting, diverse flavors of Swiss dishes, sometimes in surprisingly delightful combinations.

Chef Christian, who has made waves in the culinary scene since his arrival at Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, brings a decade of experience from the celebrated Restaurant Tim Raue in Berlin and other established MICHELIN-starred restaurants in Europe. Chef Christian has captivated diners at Lae Lay, a modern seafood restaurant that delights guests with the freshest ingredients from the Andaman Sea, paired with seasonal produce and intense spices in an innovative, Asian-inspired culinary style.

The IGNIV Bangkok x Lae Lay Four Hands Dinner is presented for one night only from 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2024 for THB 5,900++ per guest, including welcome drink at IGNIV Bangkok. Complete the special night with a 3-glass wine pairing at THB 3,000++ or a 6-glass pairing at THB 5,500++ per person. The 6 glasses of non-alcoholic pairing are presented at THB 2,200++ per person.
