GetLinks, the largest tech talent hiring marketplace in Southeast Asia, recently hosted a ceremony to award prizes to the winners of Thailand’s Top Coder Competition. The two-week-long online competition, which was set to determine Thailand’s most skilled developers, took place between 9-29, Nov. 2020. Participants had to take a 45-minute test to demonstrate their problem-solving and programming skills. The main goal of this competition was not limited to finding the best programmers but also supporting companies in accelerating economic recovery whilst giving opportunities to the university students and employees affected by COVID-19 situation.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Daungrit Benjathikul Chairungruang, Secretary to Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation gave away the prizes. The winner received 30,000 baht and the first and second runners-up received 10,000 baht and 5,000 baht respectively. The competition was sponsored by Sunday Ins, True Digital Group, Krungsri Finnovate and Ideal Approach Co., Ltd.
