Resonai, the software startup from Israel joins the National Innovation Agency in their campaign, the Corporate Spark Program, with their collaboration and great partnership with M Card by The Mall Group. This collaboration marches forward with the most innovative shopping splendor launch of the “Indoor Navigation”, the first shopping map in Thailand to provide customers with convenience in their shopping experience at The Mall Group’s shopping centers and department stores by using the AR technology to lead their way to the brands they are searching for. This function is easy to use, with a scan through the customer’s phone camera, an arrow will appear to guide them clearly to their brand destination of choice. The AR Navigation technology will also accurately offer live information on the route and points of interest along the way to the customer’s destination as well.

Mr. Tal Cohen, Chief Financial Officer of Resonai, the software developer from Israel, states, this success comes from cooperation through the Corporate Spark Program, which Resonai has jointly developed innovative navigation technology in department stores (Indoor Navigation) for The Mall Group which was a natural fit for Resonai’s first collaboration with Thai retail. In addition to being a leading mall owner and operator, TMG stands out for its diverse portfolio of shopping malls, innovative concepts and designs in-mall, and a deep commitment to integrating technology to enhance the shopping experience.

“All these make TMG the best possible partner to work with and make the Resonai vision a reality in Thai malls.  By integrating Resonai’s innovative technology refactors malls into new digital environments, essentially adding new digital real estate on top of the physical property and blending the two together. The newly created digital layer enhances the holistic Thai mall experience and Resonai’s platform ties all the elements together. Integrating powerful technologies like AI and AR improves and enhances experiences, especially in large scale malls such as TMG’s malls. Visitors’ orientation within large malls can be a challenge. Feeling lost, not finding the right store, and struggling to find the nearest exit or restroom all hurt shopper satisfaction and the chances of a repeat visit. In addition to indoor navigation, Resonai’s technology elevates the shopper experience in-mall with various AR experiences, such as turning storefronts into interactive billboards, offering personalized shopping journeys based on the visitor’s preferences, interactive 3D ads that create new revenue streams for the mall, innovative loyalty programs, seasonal 3D art installations, gamified AR experiences containing exclusive promotions and more.” Mr. Tal said

Mr. Natee Srirussamee, Senior Vice President, HEAD OF DIGITAL RETAIL & STRATEGIC ALLIANCE, The Mall Group Company Limited, states, M Card, by The Mall Group, the leading retail business, is determined to continuously develop and expand the variety of services to accommodate our customers’ convenience and delightful shopping experience. From the success of developing the AR Game, offering fun campaigns for the customers since 2022, The Mall Group is eager to continue its development of innovative AR by joining the Corporate Spark by the National Innovation Agency. This campaign aims to find “Tech Solutions” to support and elevate businesses in Thailand, and to advance their capabilities in providing services with the best possible tools to compete in the international arena.

“This is the reason we have partnered with an international giant like Resonai, the software developer from Israel, to launch the “Indoor Navigation”, for the first time in Thailand, through the M Card Application. The map will provide customers with convenience in their shopping experience at The Mall Group’s shopping centers and department stores by using the AR technology to lead their way to the brands they are searching for. This function is easy to use, with a scan through the customer’s phone camera, an arrow will appear to guide them clearly to their brand destination of choice. The AR Navigation technology will also accurately offer live information on the route and points of interest along the way to the customer’s destination as well. Customers will be able to choose a route with ease without wasting any valuable time, which includes selecting which escalator or elevator is closest to the destination as well. This technology is also another limitless platform for the shops or brands to expand their reach of products and services to the customers, allowing them to communicate any promotions, privileges, discounts, and more through a 3D Model on AR. The customers will be able to access the special privileges swiftly and conveniently, which align with M Card’s mission to be “Customer Centric”, a priority for its sustainable growth together in the Ecosystem that serves as the ultimate solution for customer’s wants and needs in the digital age.” Mr. Natee said
