One-MICHELIN starred IGNIV Bangkok restaurant, located at 1st floor of The St. Regis Bangkok, celebrates the arrival of autumn to pay homage to the harvest season with a new menu, featuring 18 handcrafted dishes in a sharing experience that beautifully combines European and Thai flavors from September to November 2024.

Designed to evoke the earthy flavors of European autumn’s rhythm as the weather cools, the IGNIV Autumn Menu showcases hearty root vegetables including truffle, white fungus, and Brussels sprouts, along with locally sourced produce from communities in Chiang Rai and Tak provinces of Thailand such as mountain kombu, coffee blossom, and heart of palm.

“My inspiration of the Autumn Menu comes from my first experience when I came to Asia in November 2018. I remember the taste of local ingredients and vibrant flavors which are completely different from the flavors I recognized in Europe. I drew the inspiration from my culinary exploration and blend them with the flavor of European earthiness that celebrates the seasonal transitions. The moment of this discovery is always special for me, and I’d like to share it to our guests through my first seasonal menu as Head Chef of IGNIV Bangkok,” Chef Arne Riehn.

To reflect the seasonal shifts and the culinary heritage from both Europe and Asia, Chef Arne and his team has crafted a menu that embodies indulgent, rich sauces, the tangy zest of sour pickling juices, the comforting softness of moist brioche, traditionally fermented sauerkraut, velvety beurre blanc, and the warming embrace of rum and raisin.

Each Autumn Menu dish includes a classic element blending tradition and modernity in both presentation and preparation style. Some highlights include Truffle-Duexelle-Kataifi for snack, Foie Gras-Salee-Truffle for starter, Deer—Black Garlic—Brussel SproutsGyoza—Sauerkraut—Chili, and Rainbow trout—Butternut—Mountain Kombu for main dishes and lastly Coffee Blossom-Rum & Raisin-Coconut for the dessert.

The finale is signaled by an introduction to the IGNIV Candy Store; an invitation to revisit one’s childhood with a visual extravaganza of caneles, madeleines, financiers, caramels, toffees, chocolate dipped nuts, panforte and nougat to be brought home as a delicious memory of their visit.
