Thailand Post Co., Ltd. has launched a new daily postmark design, which was designed by Mr Chuan Leekpai, President of the National Assembly, for use as a special stamp on all types of postal mail sent from the Parliamentary Post Office, only.

Mr Kamputh Yookong, Chief Executive Officer of Postal Systems and Metropolitan Operations, Thailand Post Co., Ltd., said that Thailand Post has opened a postal service in the area of Parliament for more than 27 years and has moved the parliamentary post office from the former parliament building to the Sappaya-Sapasathan Council. On this special occasion, Thailand Post has, therefore, released a new daily seal designed by Mr Chuan Leekpai, President of the National Assembly, to be used as a special stamp on all types of postal mail sent from the Parliamentary Post Office. This new daily postmark will be effective from 7 December 2021 onwards.            

Mr Kamputh added that the new daily postmark, designed by Mr Chuan Leekpai, is a replica of the “Phan Wan Fah” symbol, the symbol of the Thai Parliament, which surrounded by the words THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THAILAND resembling the English name of the National Assembly The zip code and the date of the deposit sent will be stamped on the postage as evidence for the delivery of the postal service used.
