Today, Collinson, a global leader in travel experiences and medical assistance, announced that it has partnered with global travel platform, Agoda, to offer a range of pre-departure COVID-19 travel tests, including RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen tests, to Agoda customers at discounted rates.
The partnership enables seamless and secure booking of COVID-19 tests for Agoda customers travelling from Singapore, South Korea and other APAC markets.
Supporting customers during the return to travel
With increased demand for travel as border restrictions lift, the partnership helps facilitate a safe and seamless return to travel. Travellers will easily be able to book a COVID-19 test at their preferred in-city clinic from a list of approved testing facilities through the Collinson website.
A special promotional code will be made available to customers who complete a booking on the travel platform, which can then be applied when scheduling a pre-departure test. Agoda customers will have access to special discount codes ranging from 5%-20% off, depending on the type of test required, and their country of departure.
Upon completion of their test, customers will receive a test certificate containing their PCR test results within 36 hours; and within an hour from the clinic directly for Rapid Antigen tests. Both of which, if negative, can then be used for travel.
The announcement follows on from recent Collinson research, conducted in partnership with CAPA – Centre for Aviation (CAPA), which revealed that over half of respondents (54%) expect robust COVID-19 testing protocols will remain key to re-opening borders until the end of 2022 in Asia Pacific, with a further 26% expecting this until the end of 2023. The research featured the opinions of a specially selected group of over 400 C-Suite and senior managerial level travel experts globally.
