Guests flying AirAsia Thailand’s domestic and international routes will now be able to enjoy its popular menu of Santan inflight meals as the airline will start serving hot meals and beverages onboard from 12 July 2022, thanks to the recent permission announced by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.

In response to popular demand, AirAsia is bringing back highlight menu items including Dada’s Roasted Chicken with Sticky Rice for only 150 THB, White Malt Choco for only 90 THB and many more, including Uncle Chin’s Chicken Rice, Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak, ML.Noi Basil Fried with Chicken Rice and  After You Nom Yen Bun Guests can pre-book a delicious journey today at great value, by heading to Manage My Booking on airasia Super App or the website. Guests also can purchase the meal onboard during the journey.

Onboard meals of AirAsia are made in accordance with food safety standards and measures as announced by CAAT. Food and beverage service will be handled by the crew practicing proper hygiene standards including hand sanitisation and wearing masks and gloves. However, guests are strongly encouraged to wear masks throughout the journey or immediately put the mask back on after eating, drinking or taking medication.

AirAsia Thailand Head of Inflight Services, Ms. On-anong Methapipatkul said: “We welcome the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand announcement  granting approval for airlines to once again serve food and beverage on domestic flights under public health measures. With the announcement, AirAsia is ready to serve hot meals and a variety of drinks, starting with the most popular items, with plans to add many more for each journey in the future.

“AirAsia will continue to operate under stringent health measures including when serving hot meals and beverages to guests onboard. Due to popular demand, we will first bring back the all-time favorite Dada’s Roasted Chicken with Sticky Rice that will be a great combination with our new drink, the White Malt Choco that is sure will be a top favorite too.
