For a taste of tradition in a serene setting, guests can gather at the Riverside Terrace where celebrations will include a traditional krathong float, live music and a generous dinner buffet of classic Thai fare, including a live pad thai station, premium seafood, succulent grilled meats and traditional Thai desserts. The experience is priced at THB 3,599 net per adult and THB 1,599 net per child between 5 and 11 years old.

Over at Trader Vic’s, guests can toast the new moon to live music while dining on a refined set menu including smoked Hokkaido scallops with cauliflower veloute and oscietra caviar; Jerusalem artichoke and almond bisque with poached Canadian lobster; choice of sous vide Chilean sea bass with grape cream or Japanese Wagyu ribeye with madeira jus sphere; and a decadent dessert featuring Thai coconut and lotus seeds. Trader Vic’s four-course set dinner is priced at THB 2,999 net per adult and THB 1,299 net per child.

For a romantic Loy Krathong on the water, Manohra Cruises is offering an epicurean experience that combines sightseeing with gourmet dining. The night starts with a welcome drink, canapes and a krathong float on the pier, followed by a cruise dinner featuring such delicacies as soft-shell crab with pineapple; yellow curry espuma and salmon roe; 24-hour braised Wagyu beef cheek; and rich pandan crumble. The experience is priced at THB 3,999 net per person for a five-course set menu, THB 5,999 with select free-flow alcoholic drinks and THB 1,299 net per child.
