Stepping up the glam factor while embracing its cosier side as the festive season approaches, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel has put together a thrilling programme of Christmas and New Year’s Eve events that will see the storied hotel turn, once again, into a beating heart of the community.
On 15 November, Mocha & Muffins will unveil a collection of bespoke festive hampers containing carefully curated presents to suit all styles. Elegant and timeless, the gift boxes are filled with gourmet treats including oven-fresh panettone and advent calendars with decadent chocolate truffles inside. Guests can also add a celebratory sparkle by adding a bottle of Champagne or fine wine, or customise their hamper with a personal touch. Festive hampers will be available for pick-up and delivery for THB 1,800+ until 15 January 2023.
Throughout the festive season, Mocha & Muffins will also be hosting the annual Gingerbread House Academy where families can have fun with marshmallows, royal icing and other pastry kitchen essentials on December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18 from 2 pm – 5 pm. The experience is priced at THB 1,200++ per child and includes one gingerbread house.
Taking inspiration from European Christmas markets, on December 4, 11 and 18 the hotel’s award-winning Sunday brunch will be putting on warming Christmas tipples and festive dishes alongside brunch specials, including premium seafood bar, carving stations, cheese wheel pasta and a spectacular dessert section, all served to the sounds of live jazz in a tropical courtyard. Winterfest Sunday Brunch will run from 12.00 pm to 3.30 pm and is priced at THB 2,500++ with non-alcoholic beverages; THB 4,500++ with beer, wine and Moët & Chandon Champagne; and THB 1,250++ for children from 5 to 11 (younger children dine complimentary.)
For a refined Christmas night experience, guests are invited to the iconic Lobby that will be dressed in festive finery for the occasion of the Christmas Eve Dinner on 24 December. Chefs will be pulling out all the stops with seasonal classics such as honey-glazed ham, roast turkey and log cakes, as well as other buffet favourites including premium seafood on ice. The festivities will start at 6pm and are priced at THB 3,200++ with non-alcoholic beverages; THB 5,200++ with beer, wine and Moët & Chandon Champagne; and THB 1,450++ for children aged 5 to 11.
A beloved social event and the grandest of Anantara Siam’s annual fests, the Christmas Day Brunch is set in a magnificently lush courtyard and the lobby where live stations offer a cornucopia of flavours as well as a special selection from Biscotti, Shintaro and the Lobby Lounge. Guests can relax or socialise to live music, join the carollers, or simply watch the little ones have the time of their life with Santa and Santarina. Christmas Day Brunch will take place on 25 December from 12.00 noon to 4.00 pm. Prices start from THB 3,700++ with non-alcoholic beverages; THB 5,500++ with beer, wine and Moët & Chandon Champagne; and THB 1,450++ for children from 5 to 11.
On New Year’s Eve, signature restaurants Shintaro, Biscotti, Madison and Guilty will be setting the stage for intimate festivities with both a la carte options and special set menus for THB 4,500++ per person, inviting guests to dine on premium Japanese, Italian and South American flavours between 7.00 pm and 11.00 pm. Meanwhile, Spice Market will be serving a set menu of traditional Thai and Indian flavours for THB 2,500++ from 7.00 pm till 11.00 pm, with a la carte options available. Alternatively, guests can ring in 2023 alfresco in Aqua’s leafy courtyard by a koi pond with spirited celebrations there running from 7.00 pm till 1.00 am and priced at THB 8,500++ per person.
Later that night, at 11.00 pm, a lively countdown party will kick off at Parichart Court where an engaging MC, 10-piece band and guest DJ will keep everyone on their feet late into the night. Guests will be welcomed on a first-come-first-serve basis to dance the night away until 1.00 am while enjoying select beverages from an open bar alongside delicious bites from an a la carte menu.
Over at the Grand Ballroom, guests can look forward to an atmosphere of old-world glamour, thrilling live performances and a five-course dinner paired with fine vintages for THB 8,500++ per person. The Grand New Year’s Eve Ball celebrations will begin at 7.30 pm as guests are invited to mingle and dance to the strum of a jazz band and live performances, then join other merrymakers at the pop-up rooftop bar overlooking a golf course from 11.00 pm onwards for an exclusive countdown party with a glass of Champagne.
