Four new partners have joined Deloitte Thailand, taking on positions in Financial Advisory, Risk Advisory, Audit & Assurance and Tax & Legal.

They will play key roles in strengthening the service capabilities in response to evolving client needs. The four new partners each bring a deep and rich set of skills, fresh perspectives, and specialised knowledge, which combined with Deloitte’s regional and global network of expertise, will ensure its continued commitment to delivering high-quality services to clients in Thailand.

This move is part of a Global and Southeast Asia investment to scale Deloitte in Southeast Asia and build Deloitte’s capability in order to strengthen delivery of client services and attract talent in the region.

Asadej Kongsiri joins Deloitte Thailand as its new Financial Advisory Leader, and brings over 30 years of experience working in large domestic and international corporations, 20 of which have been in the Investment Banking industry where he has advised on numerous successful M&A and capital markets transactions. With an aspiration to not only be a service provider but also a trusted advisor assisting clients to achieve their own goals and aspirations, Asadej will build upon the existing foundations in transaction services such as Financial Due Diligence, Valuation, and general Financial Advisory and accelerate the growth of Deloitte’s Financial Advisory practice in Thailand.

Vorapong Sutanont joins as Risk Advisory Partner, and is recognised as Thailand’s Financial Crime and Risk Consulting expert. He is one of few Thais who was granted a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for “Fraud Detection, Risk Analysis and Compliance” in 2011. He has over 20 years of perennial experience in fraud, cybercrime and forensic investigations, dispute analysis and solving crisis and arduous business problems – both in the U.S. for 10 years and across ASEAN for 10 years with a Big 4 firm serving multinational and local corporations. In addition, he was Chief Risk Officer for a large conglomerate where he exuded cost saving via risk optimization and unravelled multifaceted risks throughout.​ His first-hand CRO experience has provided him with a unique insight into both the management board’s and audit committee’s responsibility and he is dynamic in driving revenue growth and profitability while optimising enterprise risk, ethics and regulatory compliance.

Vichai Suknaibaiboon, who joins as Audit & Assurance Partnerhas over 30 years of experience in Audit and Enterprise Solutions Selling, advising multinational companies and local conglomerate businesses. He has extensive experience in numerous areas including enterprise technology sale management, finance transformation, process improvement, regulatory and corporate governance advisory, risk management as well as Digital Controllership services. Vichai will lead the Accounting Operation Advisory Service in Deloitte Thailand, which focuses on transformation technology services designed to help Finance leaders to streamline end-to-end process and improve operational efficiency of finance functions.

Patcharaporn Pootranon, who joins as Tax & Legal Partnerbrings to Deloitte more than 15 years of experience as legal advisor in multinational transactions. Patcharaporn specialises in capital markets, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring. She will lead Legal Services in Deloitte Thailand and has plans to expand the team to provide the full suite of Legal expertise and a more holistic Deloitte approach by extending the capability to support companies to be listed or the ones listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.”
