Fairfield by Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 extraordinary hotel brands, today announced its debut in Cambodia with the opening of Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh. Set at the heart of the country’s capital city, the new hotel is centrally located in the landmark Chip Mong Tower at Russian Federation Boulevard and provides seamless experiences with panoramic city views.

“The opening of Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh is an important milestone for Marriott International, as we continue to expand our footprint in Asia’s most exciting up-and-coming destinations. Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh will be our second property in Phnom Penh and fourth property is Cambodia. We look forward to welcoming guests to this dynamic destination,” said Jakob Helgen, Area Vice President of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Myanmar, Marriott International.

Located just 8km from Phnom Penh International Airport, the hotel is close to commercial and government offices and local attractions such as Wat Phnom Temple, National Museum and the Royal Palace. Travelers can also explore upper floors of Chip Mong Tower, where they will find a five-story shopping mall, luxury office spaces, a large cinema, and a variety of leisure facilities.

All 300 guestrooms are designed with warm, natural tones, and offer mobile workspaces, comfortable ergonomic chairs, 55-inch cable TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi. Each bathroom features a rain shower so that guests can stay refreshed. Connecting rooms are available for families or friends who want to stay together.

A variety of Cambodian, pan-Asian and Western cuisines are served at the All-Day Dining restaurant. Guests can step up to The Winds rooftop bar to enjoy drinks upon the city’s sunset view. Guests can also grab what they need from the convenient 24/7 market, which is fully stocked with snacks and beverages to quench thirsts or satisfy cravings anytime of the day.

The hotel offers two meeting spaces and a 300-square meter naturally lit ballroom that can host up to 260 delegates for cocktail receptions, conferences, gala dinners and more. The ballroom can be flexibly divided into three sections for intimate events. The two meeting spaces are 88-square meter each and equipped with audio-visual technology, ideal for business functions or social gatherings with up to 70 people. A team of dedicated meeting planners are offered for event planning support.

When taking a break from business, guests can plunge into the outdoor infinity pool, which is perched on the 28th floor and enjoy panoramic views of the Phnom Penh skyline. The 24/7 fitness center also overlooks the remarkable sunrise and sunet the city has to offer.

“We are delighted to introduce the country’s first Fairfield by Marriott hotel in Cambodia and look forward to welcoming travelers with warm Cambodian hospitality,” said Eugene Pak, General Manager, Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh.
