อยู่ในท้องที่ตำบลเมืองพาน อำเภอบ้านผือ จังหวัดอุดรธานี อยู่ในเขตป่าสงวนแห่งชาติป่าเขือน้ำ มีเนื้อที่ประมาณ 8,125 ไร่ กรมป่าไม้ได้ประกาศจัดตั้งเมื่อวันที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2539ลักษณะภูมิประเทศ เป็นเทือกเขาขนาดเล็กขนานกับเทือกเขาภูพาน ด้านทิศตะวันตกเป็นหน้าผาสูงชัน มองเห็นทิวทัศน์ได้สวยงาม บางส่วนเป็นลานหินและโขดหินน้อยใหญ่สูงจากระดับน้ำทะเลประมาณ 300 - 400 เมตรพืชพรรณและสัตว์ป่า พบป่า 3 ชนิด คือ ป่าเต็งรัง พบบริเวณเชิงเขา แต่ค่อนข้างสมบูรณ์ พันธุ์ไม้ที่พบได้แก่ เต็ง รัง เหียง พลวง มะขามป้อม ป่าเบญจพรรณ ปกคลุมพื้นที่บริเวณส่วนใหญ่ที่เป็นที่ราบ พันธุ์ไม้ที่พบได้แก่ ประดู่ แดง เหียง เต็ง รัง ตะแบก ส้าน ซ้อ มะม่วงป่า กะบาก ยอป่า ป่าดิบแล้ง อยู่ในบริเวณรอยต่อตามร่องเขาและรอยต่อพื้นที่กับเทือกเขาภูพาน พันธุ์ไม้ที่พบได้แก่ มะค่าโมง ประดู่ ตะเคียนหิน ไทร เป็นต้น สัตว์ป่าที่พบได้แก่ ลิง บ่าง นางอาย ไก่ป่า ตุ่น ตะกวด กระรอก และชาวบ้านเคยพบหมูป่าในบริเวณที่มีป่าหนาทึบ และนกชนิดต่าง ๆ ที่พอพบเห็นได้ในปัจจุบัน

 Bhu Prabaht Bua Bok Forest Park is located in Muang Pan District, Ban Pue Ampur, Udon Thani Province. Bhu Prabaht Bua Bok is a forest park of 8,125 rais in Pa Kua Num Forest Reserve and was gazetted on 20 February 1996. Topography The area is small mountain ranges parallel with Bhu Pan ranges. In the west steep cliffs are found and beautiful scenery can be seen from there. Some areas are rocky ground and rocky mounds, both large and small ones, ranging from 300-400 metres.

Flora and Fauna There are three main vegetation types in the area. Dry Dipterocarp forest is fairly rich and found on the foothill. Plant species found here are Shorea obtuse, Shorea siamensis, Dipterocarpus obtusifolius, Dipterocarpus tuberculatus and Phyllanthus emblic. Mixed Deciduous forest is mainly found in plain area. Plant species found in this forest type include Pterocarpus macrocarpus, Syzygium glaucum, Dipterocarpus obtusifolius, Shorea obtuse, Shorea siamensis, Lagerstroemia cuspidate, Dillenia Spp. Gmelina Spp., Mangifera caloneura, Anisoptera costata and Morinda coreia. Dry Evergreen forest grows in hill cracks and junction areas with Bhu Pan ranges. Flora recorded here include Afzelia xylocarpa, Pterocarpus macrocarpus, Hopea ferrea and Ficus Spp. Wildlife spotted here are Macaque, Flying Lemur, Slow Loris, Junglefowl, Mole and Squirrel. Villagers used to find Wild Pig in dense forest. Various bird species can still be seen today. Tourist Attractions Attractions here are ancient remains consisting of Stupa, Red Palm cave and Rocky Coffin hill. The Art Department has taken responsibility to control and maintain the area of 3,430 rai in Pa Kue Num Forest Reserve. It was declared in government gazette no. 98, section 63 on 28 April 1981.

How to go? By Car The sealed road from Udon Thani Province to Ban Pue Ampur is around 42 kms. Then, it is about 11 kms of sealed road from turn off to Bhu Pra Baht Bua Bok.
