From 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Andrew presents a selection of Bacardi rum cocktails for the city’s tastemakers in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere overlooking the urban nightscape.
A seasoned F&B industry veteran, Andrew dedicates his time to crafting exceptional guest experience at Papa Doble Singapore, an establishment formerly known as The Old Man and recipient of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2021 award. Papa Doble is known for its innovative cocktails inspired by the legendary author Ernest Hemingway.
Guests have a choice of four rum cocktails on the evening, including Papa Doble, mixed with homogenized peppers and pineapple; a refreshing #1937 blended with clarified pyros & rhubarb, vermouth, and topped up with bubbles; a coffee-infused Kenya cocktail; and a tropical Bimini Island with homogenized pineapple and coco aqua. An exclusive cocktail flight invites guests to taste all four rum beverages for the full experience.
The guest bartender experience complements The St. Regis Bangkok’s recently launched bar program which pays homage to the glamor of the original House of Astor including a New York-inspired cocktail menu.
International Rum Day celebrations start at 7:00 PM on August 16, 2022 with guest bartender Andrew Yap behind the bars until 11:00 PM at The St. Regis Bar. Papa Doble cocktails start from THB 420++ per glass, and the cocktail flight is THB 1,520++ for four beverages.
