Thai Vietjet proudly presents the first-ever ‘Fly Green Charity Run’ – a run race under the airline’s environmental ‘Fly Green Fund’, with an ultimate goal of raising monetary fund for Seub Nakhasathien Foundation.

The Fly Green Charity Run is set to commence on 17th December 2023 at Suan Luang RAMA IX in Bangkok. There will be a total enrollment quota of 2,000 for this year’s inaugural race event, allocated to the 5 km. race and 10 km. race. Registration for public entry will open on 25th September 2023 at https://race.thai.run/flygreenrun2023 with the following details:

• 5 km. Package: Registration fee of THB 550 (early bird at THB 500)
• 10 km. Package: Registration fee of THB 650 (early bird at THB 600)

Exclusive for the Fly Green Charity Run only, registrants will receive a special discount voucher valued THB 300 for 5 km. package and THB 500 for 10 km. package. The discount vouchers can be redeemed as a ticket discount when booking air ticket on Thai Vietjet’s website (terms and conditions applied).

The net income after expense deduction will be handed to the Seub Nakhasathien Foundation to continue its environmental activities in safeguarding, preserving, and defending the forest and endangered wildlife in Thailand.

In addition, with the ultimate goal for the forest and endangered wildlife protection, the race finishers will receive a ‘Fly Green Charity Run’ medal made of recycled plastic bottle caps, transformed into a leaf-shaped medal in a light green color. Over 50,000 pieces of plastic bottle caps have been utilized to produce the medals for 2,000 race finishers, reducing over 50 kg. of waste and 600 CO2-Eq of Carbon Footprints.

Fly Green Fund is Thai Vietjet’s flagship environmental project. It was officially established in 2021 with the ultimate goal of supporting the Seub Nakhasathien Foundation’s environmental activities to continue safeguarding, preserving, and defending the forest and endangered animals. Since the establishment of the Fly Green Fund, Thai Vietjet has consistently been carrying out a wide range of environmental projects and activities, including ‘Garbage Hunter’ – a project to remove garbage from various locations in Thailand, ‘Fly Green Charity Golf Day’ – the first charity golf tournament under Fly Green Fund, ‘Fly Green Metro Forest’ – a project to increase more green areas in the urban cities in Thailand, and ‘Vietjet Fly Green Charity Concert’ – an event to create awareness about environmental issues among music fans and raise funds from concert tickets sales to support Sueb Nakhasathien Foundation’s environmental preservation activities.
